Expected Payout: This depends some on your list. When I mailed to my own list, 16% of those who downloaded the eBook wound up subscribing to the Fractal Planner. But that's a special case. For affiliates, 5% has proven to be a good conversion rate for a single message. Some have done less well, depending on how targeted their lists are, and how they promoted. Sending more than one message leads to a higher conversion rate. There is currently an initial email message, and one follow up message on the next page for you to send out. The month to month retention rate is good, and the average subscription is about 11 months. Your commission is roughly $4.20/month/subscriber. So the average projected affiliate payout for a subscription to the Fractal Planner is over $46. If you can get 100 to subscribe to the Fractal Planner, and these numbers hold with your subscribers, then you would net over $4,600 in the long run from just giving away something that will bring enormous benefit to your audience.

Additional Consideration: This is an offer that does not burn any credibility with your list. You are simply giving them something of value for free. That's it. They don't even have to give an email address to get the ebook.

Do a Written Interview with Jim Stone
 Visitor Experience: They receive an email message (or blog post) from you that contains a written interview you conducted with me about the "Clear Mind, Effective Action" eBook, and the Fractal Planner. They get links to both the free eBook, and the Fractal Planner. They can subscribe to the Fractal Planner right away, or after reading "Clear Mind, Effective Action". Either way, your affiliate cookie will be set, and, provided it's still set when the visitor purchases, you'll earn recurring affiliate commissions.

Expected Payout: The one time this has been done so far, the affiliate had about a 5% conversion rate. If you have a similar experience, then, if you can get 1000 visitors to click one of your links, you should expect about $2/visitor (about $46/subscriber over the long run) and earn over $2,000. Note that this will be distributed over time as you continue to collect recurring commissions.

Additional Consideration: In order to do this well, you should use the Fractal Planner yourself, and you should be familiar with the contents of the "Clear Mind, Effective Action" ebook as well.
